Emma Slade is a psychologist with Weight Management Psychology and completed her Masters in Applied Psychology where she excelled with two Deans Commendations for Academic Excellence. She is also a current Sport and Exercise Psychology Registrar, and published her masters research in 2019.
Emma has experience within private psychology practices, sporting academies, and drug and alcohol support services, giving her a strong background as a general psychologist able to support clients with life issues related to their weight, health, and wellbeing.
Emma enjoys working with clients in the bariatric space so as to promote their long-term success. She enjoys working to assist clients across a variety of mental health related concerns, as well as in the spaces of health and lifestyle behaviour modification. Emma is additionally interested in the psychology behind physical activity and is passionate about assisting people to build their healthy relationship with movement, and the application of exercise psychology in helping people to engage in movement that adds fulfilment to their everyday life.
She accepts General Practitioner Medicare Mental Health Care Plans as well as Team Care Arrangements.
