Before Surgery

Initial Appointment – $250 -1 hour Appointment:

You will need to make an initial appointment to discuss Weight Loss Surgery with Dr Michael Hatzifotis, before surgery can be booked. You can make an initial appointment by calling (07) 3847 7002. 

Dr Hatzifotis will discuss your medical history, explain options available to you regarding weight loss surgery, explain the advantages and disadvantages and risks of the different weight loss procedures, offer advice and answer any questions you may have. 

Please allow one (1) hour for this consultation.

A valid GP or Specialist’s referral is required for this appointment and may be emailed/faxed to our rooms prior to your appointment.

The fee for the initial consultation is $250 and you will receive a rebate of $76.15 from Medicare.
